Doug will be offering one-week camps
beginning July 11 running right through to
August 26. The camp runs from 1 to 4
each weekday. The cost is $120.00 plus
HST per child per week. The junior does
not need to be a member to participate.
The week with the August Civic holiday is a
4 day week costing 96.00 plus HST.
Our summer tennis camps provide athletes
with an opportunity to become better tennis
players in a fun, positive atmosphere. Our
campers learn from trained coaches and “sport of a lifetime”,physical training each day, along with
match play to put into practice the skills of
the day.
With the gracious support of the Optimists
and the ETC membership, we offer 3 spots
per week to deserving participants on a no
cost basis. Application for these spots may
be made through Gillian Riseborough at
East Wellington Community Services 519-

You may sign up for the summer camps on a
first serve basis at any of our registration days or you may contact Doug

The club has planned 2 Fun Friday Nights
for all members of the club no matter their
skill level, whether you’re a long time
member or you have just joined us this
2011 season. These themed Friday night
socials provide you an opportunity to come
out and have a laugh, meet like minded
people and play tennis. Mark these FREE & FUN NIGHTS on your calendar June
24th and August 5th.
Friday
June 24st: “Rock 'n Roll 50's”
Let out your Inner Greaser, Hipster or
Daddy-O! Swivel those hips, grease back
your hair and get ready to Rock N’ Roll!!!
Play tennis to the tunes of Elvis Presley,
Bill Haley and the Comets, Chuck Berry,
Jerry Lee Lewis to name a few. Snack
on Piggies-In-A-Blanket and have some
Kool-Aid! Prizes to be awarded for the
BEST DRESSED or BEST SPIRIT! “Don’t
be square”, you will want to “make this
scene”, meet some “cool cats” and have a “blast”!!!

August 5th: “Wimbledon in Erin? Yes!!”
Back by popular demand, this is an
evening of pure class, dressed in your
tennis whites, including your socks. Your
skills over the summer have improved and
you are now ready to be matched up in a
Doubles format and compete for the Silver
Plate or Crystal Cup. Presentations will be
made by both the Queen and the President
of the Club. Join us for scones and
Devonshire cream and lemonade. The
ball boys and girls will be there and allow
you to “bring it on”! A night of exceptional
tennis see you there
Year-End
Party – “Wild Wild West”
Howdy Pardner! Come on down to the
O.K. Corral for a foot stompin, hee-hawin,
gunslingin way to end the 2011 season!
Dust off your cowboy hats and boots and
grab some grub. Meet Billy the Kid, Butch
Cassidy, Doc Holliday, Annie Oakley or
maybe Calamity Jane. Chow on Chuck
Wagon Stew, Chili or Beans N’ Wienies…..
join us on Saturday September 24th.
Come chew-the-fat and watch our amazing
slide show summarizing the season.
There will be Awards Presentations and
prizes for best costume.
